The F2 Freestylers had the chance to test the skills of one of the world’s best players for this week’s Gamedayplus. He didn’t disappoint either. Luis Suarez rarely puts in a poor performance, whether it’s at the Camp Nou or on a patch of astroturf underneath a crane. The latter was where the F2 lads challenged the Uruguayan to master his touch. He even brought Lionel Messi along for moral support.

With the legendary mate in attendance, the pressure was on the continent’s best goal-scorer. The thing about dropping a football from a crane is that it picks up a mighty amount of speed by the time it hits the ground. Hence the hesitation to jump at it.
Suarez watched the flight of the ball, adapted to it and boom. That boom was to signify that he knocked it dead. For the day that’s in it, it was a spookily good touch.
