Ondo State has recorded it’s first case of Covid-19, Governor Rotimi Akeredolu, announced on Friday, April 3, 2020.
Governor Akeredolu announced via his official social media page that Ondo state government received the report of its first coronavirus case from the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) shortly before he made the announcement.
Governor Akeredolu noted that the infected case has since been placed under isolation and is being monitored.
The infected is in very stable condition and we ask for calm from all in Ondo State. We are on top of this and ask that our citizens continue to follow all preventive measures to ensure they remain safe. pic.twitter.com/RwFuTLQsUT
