Four persons linked to the death of 17-year-old Ohiole Glory who was a student of Azama College in Otuo community of Owan East local government area in Edo State, were burnt alive today February 24.
Two victims of the mob action were accused of being yahoo boys. The third victim is said to be a native doctor from Kogi State while the fourth is an alleged notorious kidnapper and armed robber known as Lukman.
Though some online sources claimed Ohiole lived in same compound with two of the suspects at Ikhueran Quarters Iyeu Otuo, others alleged that she was lured to their room where her vital organs were harvested.
One of the suspects popularly known as No Fuck Up was nabbed after an investigation was carried out. He was reportedly dragged to Otuo Divisional Police Headquarters and killed in the presence of policemen, before his corpse was set ablaze.
The second suspect was apprehended and set ablaze hours later, while the third suspect confessed to being a native doctor from Kogi state and using the human parts severed from the victim to perform a ritual for them. The female native doctor was also set ablaze. Buildings owned by families of the suspects were also razed.
Edo Police Commissioner, Jimeta Lawan confirmed the incident and also disclosed that operatives of the State Criminal Investigative Department (SCID) are carrying out thorough Investigation into the case.
Otuo Eyez who shared photos and graphic videos from the scene of the incident, wrote on Facebook;
