Prince Kaybee has taken to his social media to dish out advice to his fellow artists.
The star revealed that during this period, a lot of artists needs money and want to make the money no matter what it takes.
Prince Kaybee mentioned that big brands will want to use artists’ song for campaign because they know artists need money but pay little to them.
The DJ asked what they will do if the pandemic doesn’t end anytime soon and the little given will not be enough.
Prince Kaybee concluded by saying they need to negotiate better so as not to regret later in future.
He tweeted: “Big brands know artists need money right now so they would wanna use your song for a campaign but pay you a minimal amount. Yes you need the money but what if the pandemic goes for a year again?, did you negotiate well enough to keep you afloat for the duration of this crisis? All I’m saying is negotiate better lads”
