The president of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo has just announced the Kotoka International Airport will be reopened on 1st September 2020.
The president revealed a lot of conditions have been put in place to stop outsiders from bringing the virus into the country.
Nana Addo revealed all passengers must have a test result proving they are virus free and the date for the results should not exceed 72 hours.
Again, the passengers should wear face mask when disembarking from the plane.
Even with that, all passengers will be tested at the airport for the virus except children less than 5 years.
“The borders of Ghana (Land and sea) remain closed until further notice”, The president stated
The president also spoke on the reopening of schools. He revealed JHS 2 and SHS 2 students will reopen schools on 5th October. All other schools remain closed
