Piers Morgan has revealed he tested negative for Coronavirus.
The good news comes a day after he announced that he was temporarily stepping back from presenting ITV’s flagship morning show Good Morning Britain after developing a “mild” COVID-19 symptom.
After getting tested, the British journalist host took to Twitter this evening to disclose that his COVID-19 test came back negative.
He wrote: “UPDATE: My COVID-19 test was negative. I was advised to take the test by my doctor after developing possible coronavirus symptoms, and was entitled to do so as a Govt-designated essential worker. I’ll be back on @GMB as soon as my doctor advises I’m OK to return to work.”
