With more than 30,000 active cases, Gauteng still stands as the epicentre of South Africa’s COVID-19 pandemic.
Gauteng’s Coronavirus Command Council said on Friday that despite the province having the most number of cases, it still accounted for the greatest number of COVID-19 recoveries in the countery.
As a routine, a weekly update is always dropped by Faith Mazibuko from Community Safety MEC.
The province (Gauteng) has a record of 169,000 people that have recovered from the virus.
