Tankers and trucks are back on the famous Eko Bridge in Lagos and commuters who ply that route have been suffering and enduring several hours in traffic lately.
Last night, several Lagosians spent hours stuck in traffic on the bridge till past midnight and now they are crying out to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for help.

This traffic from CMS inws Apongbon to Eko bridge to Costain has been constant since Tuesday, and there's nothing serious causing this, just too much vehicles.
This is it, I think @followlasg needs to come up with a Policy that limits companies having car parks, especially..— Ori Yomi (@ROS1609) December 19, 2019

@jidesanwoolu we are using an hour just to get on eko bridge from shitta.
Please can you and your team consider fast tracking the projects for other means of transportation.
Lagos traffic is breeding a society of stressed humans.

Are you going to continue looking at us that cannot afford private jets to the top of our roofs,on this issue of tankers on Eko bridge/FunshoWilliams Avenue? It’s past 12am & Costain is ‘stand-still’.No one deserves this unhealthy lifestyle. Help us sir🙏— Yeye Oge 🤍 (@twineebee7) December 19, 2019
