Sanusi Lamido Sanusi led Friday’s Juma’at prayer at the central mosque in Awe community of Nasarawa state where he was banished to, after being dethroned as Emir of Kano by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje.
Delivering a sermon at the Juma’at prayer which was attended by Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna, Emir of Awe Chief of Shabu and Chief Imam of Awe, Shiekh Abubakar Ladan among other dignitaries, Sanusi stated that Allah is all powerful in all matters.
He also stated that those who have faith expect good or bad at all times. Sanusi told Muslims to always trust in God in whatever they face in life because nothing is above His power.
The dethroned Emir concluded the sermon with prayers to God for wisdom and good health for the leadership of the country and safety for all who came to sympathize with him.
