However, some were lucky to survive and thankful they made it through.
Taking to social media, the radio personality revealed why she has been absent from her show.
Anele revealed she tested positive for the virus and has been absent from her show.
She made it known on her Twitter saying: “Covid-19 has no rules. It does what it wants. It grows where it wants. It attacks as it pleases and takes whomever it wants. Brace yourselves.”
She went on to say that she’s been resting at home and taking it easy.
Many of her fans flooded the comment section with messages as they wish her quick recovery.
