Five bandits have been killed while 8 others were arrested by troops of Operation Whirl Stroke in Benue and Nasarawa States.
Coordinator Defence Media Operations, Major General John Enenche said 4 bandits were killed during a raid on their hideout in Tse Agi, Gwer West LGA of Benue State. He also disclosed that one of the bandits met his waterloo when troops stormed their camp along Benue-Nasarawa border.
Eneche who revealed that several ammunitions were recovered during the encounter, commended the public for providing credible intelligence information that facilitated the successful operation.
