Ndubuisi was on Tuesday arraigned before an Ikeja Magistrates’ Court, Lagos, for vicious assault on a co-tenant.
The accused, a business woman attacked Mr Phillip Eze after he gave testimony in church that her son’s death was caused by her
intention to eliminate him, the complainant. He testified that, because of her evil intentions
towards him, God instead took the life of her own son.
The prosecutor, ASP Eranus Nnamonu, told the court that the defendant committed the offence on Oct. 12 at their residence as fight broke out between the tenants who had previously been at loggerheads.
“A scuffle ensued between Mirian and the complainant, Phillip Eze, over his declaration in church while giving a testimony that the
defendants son death was as a result of her intentions toward him.
“During the fight, Miriam Ndubusi bit one of Eze’s arms and his scrotum, leaving deep lacerations there.”
Many people in court wondered why the woman, Miriam, would take her mouth to the man’s scrotum if she had not been, one way or the other, interested in his “private property”.
Lolz! The judge granted her bail with a fine and adjourned the case for hearing. Hopefully, they will settle.
