BT Sport pundit Rio Ferdinand managed to get his hands on Anthony Joshua’s title belts after Saturday’s classic bout with Wladimir Klitschko.
Joshua won in an 11-round epic to unify the WBA, IBF and IBO heavyweight titles at Wembley Stadium.
And Ferdinand, who was in attendance on the night to support the Brit, took to Instagram afterwards to post a photo of himself wearing Joshua’s three belts.
Ferdinand posted a photo of himself and Joshua, wearing the boxer’s belts, with the caption: “@anthony_joshua dug deep & showed it’s great having talent but when all said & done grit & determination in the trenches is what gets you through real testing times.
He added: “Salute the champ! #klitschko showed real class in defeat too…something I wish I could of had a bit more of if I’m really honest!”
Rio wasn’t the only one supporting Joshua, the boxer’s mum, Yeta was banned from Wembley last night but waited a couple of miles away from the flat she shares with heavyweight Joshua in north London for a phone call telling her the fight was over.
But was all smiles on Sunday morning after he spawn had knocked Ukrainian Wladimir Klitschko out to claim the 11-round victory to unify the WBA, IBF and IBO heavyweight titles .
