Spanish giants, Real Madrid have this week revealed plans for their project to refurbish their Santiago Bernabeu stadium.
Los Blancos have received the green light from the city council for their ambitious development plans.
Work on the stadium is scheduled to begin next summer, and it’s estimated that the rebuild will last two and half years before completion.
While the capacity at the Santiago Bernabeu will remain roughly the same, the main changes will be new VIP areas, plus the addition of an iconic retractable roof.
