Back in October 2016, Chelsea announced their new partnership with Nike.
Nike will sponsor Antonio Conte’s side from the beginning of next season, taking over from Adidas.
The agreement with Nike will be worth around $70 million per season to the club and will cut short the Blues’ deal with Adidas
which was only due to end in 2023.
Chelsea have been sponsored by Adidas for over a decade, having switched from Umbro
in 2006. Nike, meanwhile, are familiar with Chelsea as
they already sponsor Blues players including Willian and Eden Hazard.
First images of Chelsea’s 2017-18 Nike merchandise
This week the first images of Chelsea’s 2017-18 Nike merchandise have come out
online.
One set of images doing the rounds are of Chelsea’s home jacket. One suspects the blue
used on the top will be the same colour as adopted on the Chelsea home kit next season.
Images have also been released on Chelsea’s third kit for the 2017-18 season. The Pensioners’ 3rd kit will have a camouflage design, mixing greys and a bright blue.
