Gareth Bale was the villain on Wednesday night at the Bernabeu as he received a red card at the start of the second half against Las Palmas.
The Welsh Express seriously lost his cool with Jonathan Viera, first kicking the Las Palmas man and then pushing him right in front of the referee.
The sending off looked like being seriously costly for Real Madrid as Las Palmas went 3-1 up, but a Cristiano Ronaldo double in the final few minutes secured a 3-3 draw.
Bale apologises to the whole world
After the La Liga match, Gareth Bale spoke to Real Madrid TV and was apologetic for his actions.
Bale: “I do not think it’s a red, he pushed me & I give it back to him, I want to apologize to the team, to my teammates & the whole world…. I hope to learn from this today & try not to repeat this in the future.”
The Welsh international added: “We have a difficult match this weekend at Eibar and two days later we face Napoli in the Champions League. We have to keep fighting in every game.”
