A man who voted to leave the European Union has admitted he got it wrong and will say sorry to his 13-year-old son.
A truck driver called Richard told LBC's James O'Brien that he feel ‘stupid' for backing Brexit having being mislead by the Vote Leave campaign's call to arms.
In a video recorded by the radio station, the caller said he was ‘worried' about the potential consequences of his vote.
Uncertainty regarded the decision to leave the EU has seen the value of the pound fall to a 168 year low, however, as a result, the FTSE 100 has been performing strongly.
Richard said he had fallen for pledges like ‘take back control' without having a full understanding of what they would mean.
He told the host that he felt ‘stupid'.
He added: ‘My lad's 13. When he's older…I will apologise to him. I will say sorry to him.'
