The Super Eagles of Nigeria, on Saturday clash with the Bafana Bafana of South Africa at the Godswill Akpabio stadium, Uyo, Akwa Ibom.
Nigerian camp are oozing with confidence due to the fact they have not lost a game since Gernot Rohr took over last year, churning out impressive performances that has shown in the latest FIFA ranking.
However, this game could be crucial to the Super Eagles’ qualification to the next African Cup of Nations after missed two editions, one of which the South African denied Nigeria in 2014.

Ahead of the clash, Bafana Bafana boss, Stuart Baxter said: “We will approach the game with good confidence,”
“We have a game plan for the Super Eagles and we won’t make excuses for fatigue. No matter what.
“I’m confident that my players will give their all but I’m not confident about what I’ve taught them after three training sessions.
“These players have had a long season and so many of the Nigerian players had long seasons as well.
“Of course if you’re playing under the heat you have to manage it well. No matter what happens even if a volcano erupts tonight they will still be up for the game.”
Super Eagles boss, Gernot Rohr said: ‘Of course everybody want to go there (AFCON) now. You know, there is pressure in each game,
‘But it’s not new for them and for us. We are working very hard and we must be on a very high level to beat this team of South Africans.
‘There are other games coming up in the qualifiers, so this is not the decisive one. But it would be good to start with victory.’
