A video of policemen harassing a student of Auchi Polytechnic because he drives a nice
car has incensed a lot of people after it was shared online.
In the video, some policemen are seen intimidating the student and another friend near one of the lodges where students of
the institution reside. The car in question can be seen in the video.
According to Jossy Tom who shared the video, the policemen
around the area are in the habit of
harassing students and searching their phones while accusing them of being Yahoo boys.
The student in the video was roughed up by the police after they stopped him. He was
later taken away by the officers, according to reports.
