On Friday, the Daily Mail have reported that Conte’s aggressive nature got the better of him in training, with the former Juventus midfielder picking up a calf problem.
Conte joined in with the Chelsea players in a running exercise and pulled up.
Conte’s “back breaking” training sessions
Kieran Gill reports in the Mail: “It was nothing serious but said a lot about Conte’s style of coaching, as he adds a personal touch to training sessions by participating in drills from time to time.”
The Italian gets involved in Chelsea training when he wants to make a specific point. During his time at Juventus and now Chelsea Conte’s training has taken on legendary forms of difficulty.
With Chelsea flying high, there have been no complaints from any Blues players about the difficult training sessions put on by Conte.
