Wow. How incredible was Barcelona’s comeback win over PSG on Wednesday night in the Champions League?!
Trailing 4-0 from the first leg, Barcelona completely dominated against PSG from the start and after 50 minutes the comeback
looked on thanks to goals from Luis Suarez, Layvin Kurzawa (own goal) and Leo Messi.
Twelve minutes later, PSG thought they had done it and finally snuffed out any threat
from Barcelona with Edinson Cavani crashing home.
Barcelona win 6-5 on aggregate
Then came absolute carnage from 88 minutes as Neymar curled in a super free- kick, then the Brazilian scored a penalty on 91, following a shocking Luis Suarez dive.
And, finally, Sergi Roberto toe poked in on 95 to win an absolutely extraordinary tie 6-5
on aggregate
The Nou Camp went wild, as you would expect, in what has already been billed as the greatest comeback in Champions League
history.
Neymar Trolls Kurzawa & Rabiot
Following the first leg in Paris, Neymar was one of the few Barcelona player to offer
comforting words to their distraught fans.
And, in the lead up to the match, Neymar appeared to be in great spirits showcasing plenty of optimism.
After the game, almost all the Barcelona squad hit social media, with Neymar chief amongst them as he posted a celebratory
dressing room picture – see below.
4 + 2 = 6
The Brazilian superstar also posted plenty of videos and pictures on Instagram Stories.
Amongst these was Neymar celebrating with Samuel Umtiti long into the night and features a video of his father drinking a shot
as well.
But, the first post Neymar put on Instagram Stories was seriously cheeky – it featured
Adrien Rabiot’s celebratory picture from the first leg.
Both Rabiot and Kurzawa are holding up their fingers to total six, so Neymar did the
obvious.
Whether it was necessary for Neymar to add to PSG’s pain is up for debate. Certainly it
seems that the Barcelona star has a long memory…
