Fast rising music artiste, Ycee, has opened up on the real reason he stopped going to school as he started to make some headway in in his chosen career.
The rapper explained that he did not completely abandon school but that he put it on pause as he has had a very busy year. He also said that it wouldn’t make sense to him if he sat for exams when he did not attend classes.He told HipTV,
“It didn’t really make sense for me not to go for classes and then seat for an exam I’m not ready for or try to “rugged it or do the exam anyhow.”
He said that his course adviser and his HOD were fully aware of his decision and that he would return to school someday.
Ycee is studying Marine biology at the Lagos State University.
