The singer was recently in the news when a check on his Wikipedia page showed the singer as dead. According to fake reports, the singer was found dead in his Lagos apartment on February 1. Rumours about him passing on began to circulate on social media but the rumours were soon laid to rest by his manager Sean Okeke. Okeke reacted to the viral reports of the singer’s death by saying that “Rema is hale and healthy!”
He added:
“Pls it’s all false. What really happened was that some hacker hacked into his Wikipedia page and changed his date of birth and then added a death date Feb 1 2020. But our digital officer has reversed it.
