I believe you may have heard and seen all the people doing suicide, but perhaps you have never seen any animal or bird doing this. Today
we are going to tell you about one such place where birds come to suicide. Actually, the Dima Haso district of southern Assam is witness to
a similar mystery. A mysterious village is situated here in the mountain valley. The name of this village is Jatinga and it starts in the
discussions as soon as the beginning of September. The reason behind this is the suicide of birds occurring here. In fact, on the nights of
Krishnapaksha from October to November, strange events happen here.
Between seven o’clock in the evening between 10 o’clock or ten o’clock in the night, if there is mist in the sky, the wind speeds up and if
someone lights up somewhere, then the birds are not well. Their flocks disintegrate like insects and moths and fall at the source of light. 40
species of local and migratory birds are involved in this race of suicide.
It is said that outside migratory birds do not come back after going here. Night entry is banned in this valley. Jatanga is actually located in
the boreal hills of Assam. Where it is very rainy and due to being at a very high altitude and surrounded by mountains, there is a gathering
of clouds and an extremely deep mist. According to the scientists, the birds are completely wet when trying to fly from here during the
strong rains in Jatanga due to being located in a deep valley, so their ability to fly naturally is gone.
Since there is a very dense and dense forest of bamboo here, the birds collide with them during deep mist and dark nights and become an
accident. As far as the scheduled time is concerned, the birds try to return to their homes at this time of the evening. In such a situation,
accidents are more at this time. Please tell that due to natural reasons, this village remains isolated from the outside world for nine months.
