Also speaking about his family life, Rema disclosed that he was pressured to take up the responsibility of taking care of his mum after losing his brother and father.
“At some point, things got hard and I had to man up…. I had to work hard because I lost my brother and my dad… I had to work hard.”
Rema who also disclosed that he neither drinks nor smoke also revealed that he is not a social media freak as he hates posting on social media as it was very easy to get addicted to likes and comments on social media
Speaking on the production of his latest hit Singles Beamer (Bad Boy) and Rainbow with Rvssian and Divy, Rema said:
“He’s (Rvssian is) a great guy, I was confused because he had some many beats… We made two songs that day, but I made ‘Beamer’ last. I spent a lot of hours and even Rvssian left. “I made ‘Why’ that day – shout-out to Divvythe producer. ‘Why’ is a song about heartbreak.
It made me really sad that day, so I asked Divvyto give me something upbeat to get excited by. So, I started making something about fast cars, girls and cool kid-stuff. I liked it and D’Prince and I started bumping to it”
It will be recalled that Rema yesterday reacted when his hit track Beamer Bad Boy topped the list most played songs in Nigeria on Apple music chart.
