On Sunday, 2nd August 2020, Afia Schwarzenegger made a u-turn and announced that she is for Nana Addo despite campaigning for Mahama since 2012.
The news came as a shock to Ghanaians considering the fact that it’s been alleged it was John Mahama who bought Afia Schwarzenegger her new house.
But Afia Schwarzenegger claims she is supporting Nana Addo because of Free SHS. She claims her children enjoyed Free SHS and she wants others to enjoy too.
Afia Schwarzenegger again mentioned how Nana Addo has handled the COVID-19 pandemic including giving Ghanaians free water and electricity for 6 months.
But the staunch NPP member who can best be described as the rival of Afia Schwarzenegger, Diamond Appiah has set the record straight.
According to Diamond Appiah, Afia Schwarzenegger was ‘kicked out’ of NDC a couple of weeks ago. Afia Schwar allegedly made an offer to the NDC.
Diamond Appiah Appiah explained that Afia Schwarzenegger’s offer was rejected by NDC and she was told her “brand, naked pictures and videos all over social media is not healthy for the party’s image”
Diamond Appiah claims that is why Afia Schwarzenegger has suddenly made a U-turn to support Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo.

“After NDC rejected ur offer a few weeks ago n told u your brand n naked pictures n videos all over social media is not healthy for their party’s image ???? you want to Smartly move to NPP right ?? Aaarrr like seriously, do u think NPP likes rejected Borla goods ? have u forgotten that NPP is full of Intellectuals and responsible professionals?
Nobody in NPP will support a Dirty brand like you so stop all the fake lies before I come out to expose u big time with names of the NPP politicians u’ve been calling to beg for help ?? You can take ur nonsense to PNC or CPP now that NDC has rejected u but as for NPP di3 it will be over my dead body ??? I won’t sit n watch u disrespect our president n other politicians n later make this U-TURN Cos of Hunger ? Ur dirty brand can’t even get 10 votes for Nana so get lost”.
