A beautiful Muslim lady by the name Zainab Alhassan has shared a horrible experience she when through during a beauty pageant audition at one of the popular TV stations.
As she explains her ordeal, she disclosed that she was disqualified by the judges after passing the stages because of her failure to remove her Hijab as ordered by the judges. She shared this in a Facebook post.
The Hijab is a unique scarf that Muslim women start wearing from childhood to signify purity and respect for the tradition.
After sharing her sad experience, a lot of women came out to share similar experiences of losing Job opportunities for just for the simple fact of wearing a Hijab.

This is very sad as the Islamic religion is a main religion in Ghana and as a country that practice religious tolerance, why must someone be denied an opportunity to showcase their talent just because of their religious affiliations?
