SA politician, Mmusi Maimane calls out Prince Kaybee and DJ Maphorisa to focus on giving out good music rather than beef each other on social media.
The two DJs have been in a tensed twar since Tuesday and it was all triggered after the amapiano hitmaker listed names of music artists who don’t own their masters, which include; “Prince Kaybee, Lady Zamar and Mafikizolo.”
Upon seeing his name, Prince made effort to drag Maphorisa, claiming he’s achieved more. Eventually, this led to a competitive twar.
Mmusi stepped in later; “Bafethu. Owning masters is important. Diversifying into other business sectors is important. Lifting other artists up is important. Both of you have smaller arms than me. Ngiyi Tazz yama bicep. Can I ask that we focus on giving the people more good music.”
