Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson have sent a cease and desist letter to a woman claiming the NBA star is the father of her child.
Kimberly Alexander who was served the letter by the former couple’s attorney Marty Singer on Wednesday May 13, was told to “immediately stop defaming them with malicious defamatory lies and specious fabrications.”
This is coming after Gossip of the City published copies of alleged paperwork from LB Genetics, a facility specializing in paternity and family relationship DNA testing services—that suggested Tristan took a paternity test in January 2020.
Though Singer confirmed that Tristan did take the paternity test which confirmed he is not the father of the baby, Kimberly reportedly requested a second test and they agreed to do so but only at an accredited lab.
The lawyer also alleged that Alexander was “fired” from attorney Lisa Bloom’s firm after they determined they could not “resolve” her claims. Singer further stated that Kimberly is looking for notoreity with her claim.
The letter read in parts;
“It is obvious that the reason you are spreading these lies about my clients is because you want your 15 minutes of fame. My clients will not tolerate your despicable conduct.
“It has been proven that Mr. Thompson is not the father of your child and we demand that you stop claiming that he is, and that he and Ms. Kardashian somehow falsified the paternity test results,” the letter continues. “It is defamatory per se to falsely assert that someone is a deadbeat dad who allegedly does not support his children, and to falsely accuse my clients of faking paternity test results.”
Kimberly was also asked to delete all social media posts and cease from posting anything about Kardashian or Thompson.
The letter added;
“This is an extremely serious matter. If you disregard this letter’s demands, you do so at your peril since you will soon find yourself in court facing multi-million-dollar claims while attempting to defend your indefensible misconduct.”
Tristan currently just has two children: 3-year-old Prince with model Jordan Craig, and 2-year-old True with Khloe Kardashian.
After a split over cheating rumors in early 2019, it is speculated that Khloe is ready to take Tristan back as they’ve been spending the lockdown together with their daughter.
On Keeping Up With the Kardashians, she even discussed having another baby with Tristan, and went so far as to freeze her eggs. She has however shut down pregnancy rumors which ignited a Twitter storm days ago.
