The Jesus Bunti Burake is a statue of Jesus Christ at Makale in Tana Toraja Regency, South Sulawesi, Indonesia., Indonesia. It is the tallest statue of Jesus Christ in the world – with its height at 40 metres.
It stands on the top of Buntu Burake hill about 1.100 metres above sea level.
Construction of the statue was started in 2013. It was developed piece by piece in Yogyakarta. The official inauguration was held in August 2015.
In terms of appearance, it is a little bit similar to that of Rio de Janeiro.
Apart from the statue, the landscape, and the hill are also attractive.
