Nicholas Duncan-Williams has warned Ghana of approaching doom in the general elections in December which will need prayer to prevent.
According to the Presiding Archbishop and General Overseer of the Action Chapel International ministry, headquartered in Accra, this particular year is full of destruction and horror thus it becomes on all concerned citizens to go on their knees to pray on behalf of the nation.
“We have to really put in a lot of prayer into this year’s election,” the renowned man of God said.
“Every noon prayer, every Friday night prayer encounter in the garden, we have to pray for this nation.
Very important that there will be no state of emergency, any kind of civil uprising, confusion, violence and the shedding of innocent blood and destruction of property and the struggle of power over the destiny of our country, we have to pray.”
“2020 is a very interesting year, the twin year, we need to pray and intercede a lot” for a for a peaceful election.
In delivering his sermon to his church on Sunday, August 9, 2020, Duncan-Williams charged Ghanaians to pray against bloodshed, civil unrest and violence come December 7.
Archbishop Duncan-Williams is certain if Christians take charge and cry on the Lord, the anointed one will win the elections.
