1. Subarnarekha River (Jharkhand)
Gold is obtained from the water of Subarnarekha River flowing in Jharkhand, West Bengal and some areas of Odisha. Places like Tamaad and Saranda in Jharkhand, local tribals filteres the sand of Subarnarekha River and collects gold particles. Generally, one person can get one or two particles of gold after working all day and 60 to 80 gold particles in the entire month. These particles are slightly larger than rice grains.

3. Klondike River (Canada)
Gold is also extracted from the Klondike River flowing in Dawson City, Canada. It is believed that gold has fallen in the sediment of this river. In 1896, George Carmack, Dawson Charlie and Jim Mason firstly said that gold is found in this river.
Method of getting Gold from Klondike River
First of all, frozen sand of Klondike River is collected in buckets and it’s filtered several times. After that water of the river placed in small utensils and deposited in the form of ice. Ultimately, pieces of gold are separated from that ice. These pieces of gold are in many shapes. Some pieces are similar to pearls, some are similar to thin skins and some are also shaped in flakes.
