DJ Maphorisa is in support of the hashtag, “SAMA Must Fall” after the award organizers dished out the list of 2020 nominees.
Most South Africans are not pleased with the list, as some hit-makers didn’t make it there, such as; Master KG and Makhadzi.
Lawd Phori also spilled out is disappointment at the organizers with the claim that they “fvcked” up Mlindo The Vocalist in 2019(Mlindo is signed under the DJ).
After expressing his heartbreak, the Amapiano hitmaker said he would start (SAOMA), South African Online Music Awards.
“I am gonna start SA Online Music Awards where you guys will be the ones nominating and deciding who gets an award. It will only make sense that way, not this nonsense that is done by majors mxm,” he tweeted.
