Steve Madden says he regrets inserting himself into the beef involving Nicki Minaj and Cardi.
In case you missed how this drama started: Cardi B took to her page on Monday to drag Nicki after the “Queen” rapper had a lot to say about her on her radio show. Cardi claimed she had turned down some of the deals Nicki was recently offered, and in her response, Nicki mentioned some of the deals she, herself, had turned down which were then passed on to Cardi, one of which was a collection with Steven Madden.
But the designer took to his Twitter yesterday to deny ever offering Nicki a deal. “.@NICKIMINAJ you can’t turn down an offer that was never made. #StopLying,” he tweeted.
And this spurred heated reactions from Nicki Minaj who cussed him out for lying on her name, plus rappers 50 Cent and Iggy Azalea corroborated Nicki’s story, confirming that the designer did offer Nicki a deal in the past.
So, see the storm he triggered, the disgraced designer backtracked and now says he regretting insulting the rapper, that he wishes they worked together, plus he wishes Nicki and Cardi end their beef.
