The controversial Ghanaian counselor Cyril George Lutterodt has once again made a controversial statement this time about the recent wide watched TV3 show, ‘Date Rush’.
Date Rush is a TV3 exclusive show where men and women of age who are still struggling in finding love are offered help by given them a list of people to choose for a date. This TV show came to light after a male contestant (Ignatius) refused to pick any of the ladies he was offered claiming he is of no interest in any.
According to Counselor Lutterodt, he sees the show as an avenue where people can attribute prostitution to the entire public without being inhibited.
“You meet a guy on TV and they give you the things you can ask the guy, … all of a sudden on TV you ask the guy and he says I like you, what are the things you know about the person?
I think that it is prostitution glorified if you ask me. That we are glorifying prostitution but using other mediums to invite people to practice ‘ashawo in disguise,” – Counsellor Lutterodt said.
