Beyonce caused excitement in Ghanaians when she and Shatta Wale appeared in the official music video for “Already”; a song off her “Black is King” visual album and “The Lion King: The Gift” soundtrack.
Most Ghanaians after watching the ‘Already’ music video of Beyoncé and Shatta Wale have concluded that indeed Shatta Wale has made Ghana proud whereas some have thought otherwise and that the video is photoshopped.
Bulldod, Shatta Wale’s manager, recently confirmed that Queen B never came to Ghana to shoot the music video.
He disclosed that Shatta Wale rather sneaked out of the country alone to shoot his part with Beyoncé.
Ghanaian dance group DWP Academy, who were spotted painted in blue color with matching trousers, put up an electrifying performance during the shoot of the Already music video.
Beyoncé’s videographers shot parts of the scenes with DWP Academy and the academy has shared the behind-the-scene videos documenting their body painting journey to the ultimate dance.
Obviously, it’s clear that Beyoncé wasn’t in Ghana to shoot, but one thing for sure is that parts of the scenes in the colorful and classic visual were shot in Ghana.
