NDC’s presidential candidate John Dramani Mahama during a Townhall meeting on the ‘People’s Manifesto’ in Kumasi has described the multitudinous sod-cutting of the incumbent President Akufo-Addo as ‘Sakawa’.
John Mahama explained that the reason for calling Akufo-Addo’s sod-cutting as ‘Sakawa'(419) comes on the background that most of those projects undertaken aren’t listed in the 2020 National budget and hence have no funds backing them.
And again the NDC presidential aspirant mentioned that most of the sod-cutting by the President are schemes to win the election.
He said they are a fraud approach by Akufo-Addo and the NPP party to win the forthcoming elections.
He pointed out that contractors don’t go on site after the sod-cut hence making it fake and needless of him to do that.
