Noah Schnapp Biography
Noah Schnapp was born in Canada and developed an interest in acting when he was about five years old after seeing the Broadway production of Annie. He appeared in school and community plays as an actor.
His acting teacher suggested he pursue a professional career when he was eight years old. Noah Schnapp’s parents enrolled him in Westchester’s Star Kidz acting program, where he met coach Alyson Isbrandtsen, who quickly referred him to MKS&D Talent Management for career opportunities.
Schnapp is a Wharton School of Business student studying entrepreneurship and innovation. He anticipates graduating in 2026.
Schnapp made her film debut in Steven Spielberg’s Academy Award-winning Bridge of Spies in 2015.
He played Roger, James B. Donovan’s son. Concurrently, Schnapp provided Charlie Brown’s voice in the animated film The Peanuts Movie. In the video game The Peanuts Movie: Snoopy’s Grand Adventure, he also provided the voice of Snoopy.
He made his breakthrough as Will Byers in the Netflix science fiction horror television series Stranger Things in July 2016. For the second season of the show, which premiered on October 27, 2017, he was promoted to series regular.
Schnapp has also appeared in independent films like Abe (2019) and Waiting for Anya (2019). In 2019, he launched a YouTube channel under his own name. He was online for about a year and a half, mostly making vlogs and lifestyle videos. As of June 2022, the channel had 4.2 million subscribers and 110 million views.
In November 2021, Schnapp launched To Be Honest (TBH), a sustainable snacking company. Schnapp announced a crowdfunding campaign for this venture on the Republic platform in November 2022, with a goal of raising up to $1.235 million at a valuation of $15 million.
On January 5, 2023, Noah Schnapp came out as gay in a video posted to his TikTok account. In the video, he expressed his relief that his family and friends had accepted his coming out.
