This past weekend witnessed the grand celebration of Dr. Oluwatoyin Olubukola Ramon and APC politician Hon. Oluseye Olaniran Oladejo’s wedding, which left Lagos captivated and stirred up discussions among Nigerians on social media. The extravagant event, with a budget exceeding N500 million, showcased opulence and luxury at its finest.
The bride, Dr. Oluwatoyin, who is based in the United States and is affectionately known as Tee Glam, went all out for her special day. She flew in over 300 American doctors to Nigeria for the wedding, and her wardrobe consisted of more than 20 luxury outfits adorned with the most prestigious brands such as Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Balenciaga, Alexander McQueen, Amina Muaddi, Valdrin Sahit, and exclusive HOH Avant-garde feather fabrics. Notably, she wore Swiss premium million-stoned lace, exuding elegance and sophistication.
The traditional and white marriage ceremonies took place on June 9th and 10th, 2023, respectively, and the events were filled with mesmerizing moments. Highlights included a fairy tale-themed cake valued at N20 million and a remarkable gift of a box filled with dollars from the groom to the bride. The lavishness of the affair sparked extensive conversations throughout Nigeria. Adding to the festivities, popular music artist Naira Marley delivered an unforgettable performance.
The couple’s wedding rings alone cost over N15 million, and each of Dr. Tee’s bridal accessories surpassed the N10 million mark. Her collection of diamond and gold jewelry throughout the wedding exuded class and sophistication. For one of her wedding dances, she even wore an 18-karat gold ensemble encrusted with diamonds.
Dubbed as ‘the wedding of the year,’ this extravagant celebration unfolded at the Marriott Hotel in GRA Ikeja, Lagos. The guest list boasted political figures, dignitaries, and celebrities who turned out in great numbers to commemorate the newlyweds.
Gushing about her luxury outfits, the bride said “Traveled far and wide to meet with fashion designers prior to wedding. I came to realize all I was searching for was at home- in Nigeria. We are a great country with talented and skilled people. We just need to push ourselves and break barriers. @beccaneedlesnstitches a strong fashion designer was pushed and she delivered! Becca took it upon herself to style me, we worked on designs, and shared ideas, she was side by side with me to ensure i looked pretty and stress-free. Her team understood the assignment- thank you Michael and Deola.”
During a video interview with Abiola Orisile Events and Parties, the groom expresses his deep admiration for his bride, describing her as the most significant blessing in his life. He goes on to share his feelings about his new wife and acknowledges her unwavering support and understanding.
The 57-year-old politician, who embarked on his political journey at the age of 19, radiates happiness as he exclaims,“I feel great, as you can see. She’s the best thing that happened to me. I found my missing rib. She’s been everything since we met, and she’s been there. She’s a great soul.
“I wanted love, and I found a great heart. Since we met, suddenly, everything has made sense to me. She’s always there for me, supportive and understanding. Anything you can find in a woman; I found my destiny in Oluwatoyin Bukola Ramon.’

Remarkably, the couple made the decision to contribute the entire proceeds from their wedding to charitable causes.
Dr. Toyin Oladejo shared that the substantial sum, amounting to millions, will be utilized to purchase tables and chairs for government schools across Lagos State.
