DATES and times of the hotly anticipated FA Cup semi-finals have been leaked as Arsenal
face Manchester City and Chelsea play Tottenham.
London rivals Chelsea and Tottenham were drawn against each other earlier this week,
while Arsenal, face Manchester City in the other last-four clash.
We knew that both semi-finals are to be played at Wembley on the weekend of 22 and 23 April – but not which order, until
now.
Reliable Arsenal fan @DarrenArsenal1, often
right when he is given this information, tweeted that Arsenal’s match will be on
Saturday April 22 – and he also claimed that the Gunners will get the east end of Wembley.
And the London derby will therefore take place the following day on the 23rd – a challenge for security and emergency services as the London Marathon is that day as well.
Chelsea beat current holders Manchester United in a tense 1-0 win on Monday, while
Spurs thumped League One side Millwall last Sunday.
Arsenal, who lifted the trophy in 2014 and 2015, proved too classy for courageous non-league Lincoln City in a 5-0 home win to
set up their record 29th FA Cup semi.
