Whenever she remembers August 2017,Olori Wuraola,the estranged wife of Ooni of Ife,Oba Enitan Adeyeye would note it as a month of great ordeals and trials.She is now back to square one(being a spinster) after her 17 months old marriage came crashing down in just 30 days after the respected and envied household of Oduduwa became a topic for gossip and debate.
This past month,August has been tiring for the queen and here are how;
1.She was given an eviction note:The queen as the marriage no longer had a future was given a 30 days deadline to vacate the palace and she heeded respectfully to this.
2.The ignorance at the Lagos airport on the 12th of August while on their way to a wedding in Abuja further broadcasted their martimonial mess and it went viral.
3.The news got to the media on Monday,the 14th of August and it got various seasoning by different cooks,*winks*,and since none of the two parties could come out to discuss the issue,the cold denial was ignored and the internet was painted with more scandals.
4.The Olori visits Chief Olusegun Obasanjo on the 15th of August probably to report the King or something related to their feud but a third party outside the family beared witness to the issue.
5.Olori Wuraola packs her belongings out of the palace on the 19th and 20th of August but one bedroom set worth 25000 dollars which the queen bought in Lebanon was not allowed to be moved.
6.She visited Hearts of Gold Hospice on Sunday, August 20 but it turned into a PR disaster.The release of the pictures of the children on social media upset Mrs. Laja Adedoyin who believed the visit was private.And the clarification that money promised the hospice and 19 other homes at the February 24 Give Back concert was yet to be redeemed further added to the misery.
7.The Olori denied being the cause of the lateness in the cheque delivery to the 20 charity homes on thr 29th of August.She made this known in an instagram post she shared.
8.She finally admitted to the crashing of the marriage on Wednesday,the 30th.The queen had on that same day changed her maiden name back to Zaynab and all the news that the marriage was still stong was ridiculed.
She is now in Abuja trying to start life afresh and maybe find love again.
