Alas, rap has a new voice of reason, a guy from Delta in the south of Nigeria who calls himself the ghost of hip hop (Th3 Ghost).
He premiers (Voices) off his long awaited mixtape (Trees. Moon. Tranquility.)
It was produced by Mecca Records and features some of the most impressive rhyming I’ve heard in a while.
“Thick is the fog that blinds me
Rich is the one that finds me
A hidden treasure
Rapping for leisure near the river
Calm cos am writing psalms
Underneath the palm trees
With trees on my palms”
After listening to the song you’ll agree with me that he’s a captivating wordsmith that paints pictures that sink deep into the mind’s fabric.
Pictures so clear there might be no need for a music video.
Kidding!
The video of the song will be premiered soon.
