Bob Marley was born on 6 February 1945 in Nine Mile, Jamaica while he began his professional career in 1963 through the formation of a joint band, Bob Marley and the Wailers.

Meanwhile, Bob Marley went on to released the debut studio album “Natty Dread” in 1974. The album which was described as solo material which had an impressive reception from all over the World.
He was gaining popularity and made a proclamation as a global legend upon the release of Rastaman Vibration in 1976.
As at the time his songs were all over, he was forced to move to London following a failed assassination at his home in Jamaica.
In 1977, the failed attempt of assassination prompted Bob Marley to release the album Exodus. Later that year, he was diagnosed with acral lentiginous melanoma which was alleged to have killed him in 1981.
It was unbelievable news to the World while his fans couldn’t help but only expressed their grief. He was laid to rest in Jamaica where he was given a state burial.
Bob Marley’s legacy continued as his greatest hits album “Legend” was thrown to the World in 1984 and became the best-selling reggae album of all time.
He was honored with the Order of Merit by Jamaica, inducted into Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1994 while Rolling Stone ranked him No.11 on its list of the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time.
