Some of these missions require players to locate various items such as dumpsters, while others involve newly added places like the Smuggling Tunnels. Even if you’re not on the Smuggling Tunnel mission, it’s worth noting that this area has valuable loot drops.

At the start of DMZ, only tier-one missions for the White Lotus faction will be available. Completing the Stronghold Reacquisition mission will unlock tier two for them and tier one missions for Legion.

The Smuggling Tunnel mission is one of the tier-two missions for the White Lotus faction, with three objectives to complete. Players will need tactical cameras, which can be selected as a Field Upgrade from the loadout section.

However, finding the Smuggling Tunnels location in Call of Duty: Warzone DMZ can be challenging as the game doesn’t provide explicit directions. But don’t worry, here’s a guide on how to find it. This Tier 2 mission requires players to locate an “old tunnel complex used for smuggling goods and storing contraband” and use tactical cameras to gather intel on the location.

Be cautious as you descend. AI-controlled enemies are waiting for you, so stay alert.

After completing this objective and looting the tunnels, extract from Al Mazrah to finish the mission. To begin the Smuggling Tunnels mission, travel to the Stronghold between Zarqwa Hydroelectric and Al Mazrah City on the Al Mazrah map. However, keep in mind that this area is heavily guarded by AI combatants wearing body armor and carrying advanced weaponry. Some of them even carry riot shields, so proceed with caution.

How to enter the Smuggling Tunnels in DMZ

Entering the Smuggling Tunnels in DMZ can be done through several entrances at Al Mazrah. Here are the options:

Directly entering the Smuggling Tunnels Stronghold, which has a ladder inside the room leading to the tunnels. There are no enemies inside the small house.
The south side entrance is recommended if you’re on the Smuggling Tunnel mission, as you need to place a tactical camera there, and most of the enemy forces are located there.

If you choose to enter the Stronghold directly, be cautious, as there are AI forces waiting downstairs. It’s a good idea to use smoke grenades before descending, or use multiple frag grenades to damage the enemies beforehand.

When fighting the AI combatants, use as many lethal equipment as possible. Since the tunnel is a closed space, throwing grenades in will get multiple eliminations. Prioritize eliminating the riot shield bots, as they will charge your teammates outside the tunnel. If you’re lucky, one of the bots will drop a UAV that can be activated to reveal all enemy positions in the nearby area.

How to place tactical cameras watching two of the Smuggling Tunnel entrances in Call of Duty DMZ

Placing tactical cameras at two of the Smuggling Tunnel entrances in Call of Duty DMZ can be challenging. The area is crawling with AI enemies, and you need to eliminate them all before proceeding. The first entrance is situated at the well located north of the stronghold.
