Kanye West is mourning the loss of Nipsey Hussle and he paid tribute to the late rapper during yesterday’s Sunday Service.
Ye and his clergy played a recording of Nipsey speaking words of encouragement as they sang a hymn around it. The speech consisted of Hussle telling listeners to hold your people close, stay motivated, keep your heart pure, and love. North West was in attendance and joined her father as the choir built up their song.
Kanye will perform Sunday Service for the first time publicly later this month. It was recently announced that he’ll take the Coachella stage at 9AM on Easter Sunday, April 21st, although no further details are available.
West continues to work on YANDHI and was spotted in the studio with Chief Keef and Timbaland last month.
J. Cole and Big Sean used their spotlight at the 2019 Dreamville Festival to pay respect to Nipsey as well.
