Tupac Shakur’s steamy letters to his teen crush was reportedly written, when he was a 14-year-old freshman in 1985 at Paul Laurence Dunbar High School in Baltimore. The letter was addressed to Averel, who at the time was the same age.
TMZ gathered that Averel who sold the letters to Moments in Time, was not impressed by Tupac’s game. This is however not the first time, Tupac has been brutally honest on paper. Recall that he confessed why he dumped Madonna in a 2004 letter that later brought her tons of drama.
The rapper poured out his heart to the singer in an extremely revealing letter he wrote in jail. It read;
“For you to be seen with a black man wouldn’t in any way jeopardize your career, if anything it would make you seem that much more open and exciting.”
The legend then confesses, “But for me at least in my previous perception I felt due to my ‘image’ I would be letting down half of the people who made me what I thought I was.”
“I never meant to hurt you.”
