TS records, owned by TK Nciza and DJ Sbu, dished out official letters on social media claiming they ain’t owing singer, Zahara any dime and urged her to stay off.
It all started when Zahara let out a phone number on Instagram, saying she’s willing to let the cat out about her music and issues she’s got with record labels.
“Molweni emzantsi, i’m tired of lying about me and the industry. Like i said i’m not here to be praised but to inspire and tell my story.. now i’m ready to tell the thruth… call me here 065 615 4871 i don’t want to be a statistic. This account is not hecked.. i’m talking about my music and the record labels,” She posted.
The star went further to spit out her heavy heart during an interview with Tru FM on Tuesday afternoon.
Zahara revealed that she wants her money from TK Nciza and DJ Sbu from her three albums Loliwe, Phendula and Country Girl.
Zahara said that she’s been covering up this secret for a long time. But, the reason why she’s doing this is that she wants to set an example for other artists. She wants upcoming and current artists to be brave enough to speak up about such issues and to know and understand the industry that they’re about to get themselves into.
At the end of the interview, she said they are owing her millions.
However, TS records didn’t take the chill pill, as they took a legal action issuing her a cease-and-desist letter, preventing her making “false and defamatory statements” about the company to the media on the matter.
Zahara has also announced that she’s got nothing more to say to the media as she’s appointed the law firm, Tonise Attorneys to handle cases with the TS record label and other labels
