Folarin Falana who is better known by his stage name Falz gives a little sneak peek of what his upcoming album will look like. Speaking to Channels TV the two-time AMVCA winner said he is still making conscious and controversial music despite being hit by criticism.
Falz suffered heavy backlash by some religious groups and subsequently a ban of his song ‘This Is Nigeria’ by NBC but insists he will not back off telling stories with his music.
“Right now I’m making a lot of controversial music.
“It’s always going to be like that, people are always going to get angry when you make that sort of music but those stories need to be told,” he said.
The Bahd Guyz Records boss revealed his next album will be packed with conscious music.
“People need to hear our voices; our voices need to be projected in the positive direction as artists.
“It is something I will continue to do, I’m working on a fully conscious album which is dropping very soon,” he said.
