Mally Mall’s Los Angeles mansion has been raided by local police.
It’s being reported that the LAPD’s robbery and homicide division and the California Department Of Fish & Wildlife had warrants to search the premises over human and animal trafficking concerns. They gathered outside the gates early this morning and hit the home not long after. Animals including a cotton-top tamarin monkey and several species of cats were seized from the property. A spider monkey was later discovered at another residence. Mall and several associates are in custody.
Mally has been in trouble before. His Las Vegas pad was hit by authorities over human trafficking concerns related to an escort ring he was allegedly involved with in 2014. He’s been investigated by the LA Health Department for bringing an exotic monkey to a strip club as well.
Mally Mall built a reputation for his ability to find rare creatures. He gifted French Montana with his pet monkey Julius Caesar, gave Justin Bieber a monkey and ocelot, and Swae Lee a monkey as well.
The “Physical” artist is the latest celebrity to get swept up in illegal animal cases. Chris Brown was charged for his contraband primate in December.
