J. Cole just appeared with Dreamville on the latest cover of XXL Magazine and now it’s been confirmed that he’s producing an album for Young Thug.
It’s being reported that Cole and Thug began talking about working together while on the KOD tour last year. They recently started recording material in New York, but it isn’t certain what the project will be called.
Cole spoke fondly of Thugger during an interview with Angie Martinez last year saying:
“If you want to talk about Young Thug as an artist, he’s an innovator. If you know skills, you call him a mumble rapper all you want, but if you know skills and you know the art of rapping, that dude is a genius.”
Jermaine and Dreamville are putting the final touches on their anticipated LP Revenge Of The Dreamers III while he continues to enjoy the response to “Middle Child.”
Young Thug stayed busy in 2018 with the release of Loaded, Hear No Evil, Slime Language, and On The Rvn. He delivered The Leak 10 this January.
Check back for more information on their album as it becomes available.
